NFL and Nike Launch Program That Will Celebrate Storied Traditions
The Jets will be part of a select group of teams to debut the NFL’s new Rivalries uniform for the 2025 season. As part of a collaboration with Nike, the Jets will wear this unique uniform during a home game against an AFC East rival. The Rivalries uniform will feature designs inspired by insights from local communities.
On Friday, the NFL and Nike announced the launch of the Rivalries program, which aims to enhance fan engagement by celebrating the long-standing traditions of NFL rivalries. The program will feature specially designed Nike uniforms and fan gear, elevating key rivalry games over the next four seasons.
“We’re excited to introduce the ‘Rivalries’ program to the world,” said Renie Anderson, the NFL’s chief revenue officer. “Together with Nike, we are harnessing the power of rivalry matchups to bring fan excitement and community pride to the next level. Through these specially designed player uniforms and limited-edition fan gear, we’re aiming to inspire competitive spirit and highlight the passion that these matchups bring to our fans.”
The Rivalries program will unfold over the next several years. Teams from the AFC South and NFC North will introduce their Rivalries uniforms in 2026, followed by NFC East and AFC West teams in 2027, and AFC North and NFC South teams in 2028.
This year’s Rivalries uniforms will be revealed ahead of the first rivalry game, with the AFC East and NFC West Rivalries games set to be announced after the 2025 NFL Schedule Release in May. Fans will have the chance to purchase new jerseys, sideline apparel, and other fan gear, including T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and headwear.
Rivalries jerseys and apparel will be available at Nike.com, NFLshop.com, Fanatics.com, team stores, and select international retailers, including in Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia.
