New York Jets in UK FAQs

In 2021, the Jets were awarded the international marketing rights to the United Kingdom as part of the NFL's International Home Marketing Area ("IHMA") initiative. The initiative permitted all 32 NFL clubs the opportunity to bid on select international markets, with the objective to grow American football globally.

What does this mean?

As part of the NFL's International Home Marketing Area ("IHMA") initiative, the Jets have been awarded the international marketing rights to the United Kingdom. As such, the Jets will look to grow its existing fan base throughout the territory by creating new UK-based fan events, content platforms, partner activations, brand collaborations and community initiatives.

Additionally, the NFL will look to schedule the team's international games (at least one in the next eight seasons) in the United Kingdom.

Will the Jets play more games in the UK?

Coupled with the League's commitment to International Games – all 32 clubs will play at least one international game in the next eight seasons. The League will use its best efforts to ensure the Jets play their international games in the UK.

When will the Jets host fan events in the UK?

Stay tuned for announcements regarding fan fests and live events in the UK.

Will Jets Legends Visit the UK?

Former Jets standout Nick Mangold will serve as the official Legend ambassador to the UK. Mangold not only played for the team during its first trip to London in 2015, but also accompanied them during their most recent trip this past October as well as visiting London for the NFL Draft Watch Party in April. Look for Mangold, along with other Jets Legends, to be a part of Jets happenings throughout the UK.
